Sewa Ashram is registered as a charitable society under the name ‘Delhi House Society’. Delhi House was the name of the original house for the homeless founded in 1997, which in the year 2000 moved to a larger piece of land and became known as Sewa Ashram.

Delhi House Society is registered under the government of N.C.T Delhi, Reg. No. S-35565. Donations to the Society are qualified for tax exemption under the Income Tax Act 1961, under Section 80G. Foreign contributions are permissible under FCRA Registration Number 231660254.
