The evening of Sunday the first of April was special to me. On Sundays the whole community comes together for a meal and after that to participate in the musical evening-meeting which finds place in the big circular hall. A record number of 177 people sat in noisy anticipation for whatever this evening would bring. Music, dance, life-stories, some scriptures and teachings to enlighten the mind and soften the heart, or just being together, up-close, one beating heart. Special, not only because spring has arrived, the garden splashed with flowers, a myriad of hues, birds frolicking around, insects out in droves, no, special because this evening had the makings of a reunion, a Sewa Ashram reunion.
