The office at Sewa ashram is like a beehive. Glowing computer screens, electronic beeps, little red or green lights flickering. The printer sounds as if tired, spewing out printed papers embellished with photos, logos and stats. I even see some architectural drawings tucked between a heap of files its documents spilling out. Cell phones ring, I hear speaking in different languages, appointments being made. The whiteboard leaning against the wall is filled with words underlined in green or red, numbers and statistics. What is behind all this, all this activity, these statistics?
